I CAN MAKE GIFS NOW!

No matter how you pronounce it (I prefer like the brand of peanut butter), I NOW CAN MAKE GIFS USING GIFSOUP.COM!
It's pretty fantastic. I got sort of obsessed and started making all these using this website.

Word List

I didn't have much time for a post today so I decided to make another WORD LIST!
(My cricket friends applaud. At least they're loyal...)
Here it goes!
Drums, lollipops, dreams, boats, mustard, fridge, pee, rosehips, ocean, Cape Cod, paddleboard, jelly, germs, FunDip, writing, islands, The xx, flavor, tipsy, LIVING LIKE LARRY!
That's it.

Doodily-Whoop

Whoo! Go fun title that I came up with instantaneously because I had no idea what this post was going to be about!
I enjoy going with the idea of the moment.
I was doodling yesterday, and I was trying to draw a cartoon version of me, but then I ended up doodling some more so I got four chicas instead of just one.
The girl second to the left was the one I was meaning to look the most like me, wearing a dress based on  the one I recently got on sale from Urban Outfitters that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!
I also learned that Marvin's mouth upside down is one of the scariest things I've seen in awhile.
Well, this is right side up so turn your head sort of sideways or something.
NOW YOU'VE GOT IT!
Anyway, back when I was a little kid, after I gave up being a manatee trick trainer, I wanted to be a cartoonist. I even made up this character named Pango, who was a penguin, and even drew a strip for him. I wonder where it is now?
Maybe if I find it I'll try to scan it and put it up here for all y'all to see.
But how is life for everyone?
I still need to finish some summer assignments, and practice bassoon, and get ready for the next two weeks where I will be super duper busy.
THEN IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL, and I'm pretty sure I' m one of the few children in the universe who enjoys going back to school.
But I'm okay with it.
For the ending of each post (at least for August), I have decided to end with a piece of artwork, just because I enjoy staring at art as much as I enjoy educating people about it in the easiest and most non-annoying way possible.
What I'm calling "NO BALL GAMES". Bansky.
Write to y'all later.

I Love Fro-Yo (A post I wrote a month ago but was somehow never published)

Seriously. I do.
Doesn't matter if it's from Sweet Frog, Yogurtland, Kiwi, or anywhere. I love it.
1. I love all the flavors.
2. I love pulling down the levers to get your yogurts.
3. I love mixing and matching flavors. Or not. (Really, more like the opportunity)
4. I love that if the counter person walks away, you can put some on your finger and shove it in your mouth.
5. I love putting on toppings. Like gummy bears, sprinkles, cookie dough, kiwi, raspberries, mango, and bobas (OH MY LANDS BOBAS I COULD RANT ON THEIR GOODNESS FOR DAYS. Maybe I will someday...)
6. I love pondering over the toppings.
7. I love putting it on the scale to see how much your beautiful baby creation weighs.
8. I love the idea that it only costs so many cents per ounce.
9. I mildly enjoy paying for it.
10. I love it when the cashier gives you a colored spoon.
11. I love to take my new friend over to the counter and sit on a stool and eat there while staring out the window while you have a deep thought.
12. I love getting your money's worth of the free water that has strawberries floating in it but never really tastes like strawberries.
13. I love the time I take to pause and reflect on this.
14. I love savoring every bite and the texture of my yogurt.
15. And I regret throwing away the container and not getting more.
Yep. I like fro-yo.

Places I have Fallen Asleep

This is a weird post, but I started thinking about it, and then I realized there were a lot of places. Here is one of my usual lists.
1. On Boats- For some reason, the combined force of a boat rocking plus the noise of the water sloshing against it knocks me out cold. Not to say I can't tube or water ski because of it, because I do. One time I almost fell asleep on a "white water rafting ride." In my defense (aka why there are quotes), there wasn't a lot of white water.

2. On the Cement on A Piece of Paper Outside a Church- Okay, so I was doing a 30
Hour Famine at my friends church, and the leader went to get cardboard boxes for us to sleep in so we could feel what it was like to be homeless. EXCEPT WAL-MART WAS TOO CHEAP TO GIVE UP ANY BOXES, so we just got pieces of paper that we could lay on. One kid made a duct tape sleeping bag, which was pretty amazing in itself, but you got really sweaty after being in it for a minute. Anyways, we were sleeping outside sort of under a pavilion, and it began to pour so we all got wet. But it was pretty fun.
3. Outside of Bathroom in the Same Church- Continuation of the previous story. After it began to rain, I went inside at two in the morning to get some tea since I couldn't eat/sleep. I got some, drank it, and then went towards the bathroom with a friend since she had to pee. While I was waiting for her, I fell asleep slouched up against a wall, and when I woke up, a bunch of old ladies were staring at me curiously wondering why a random girl in a t-shirt and cargo pants was sleeping outside the bathroom with a Styrofoam cup clutched in her hands.
4. Outside on A Tarp in a Sleeping Bag in My Lawn- I had just watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off with my brother and his friend (because he had never seen it!) and got super hyped up because that's what happens to me after I watch my favorite movie of all time. Then I bugged my mom to let me sleep outside, she said yes after getting over the fear of me being attacked by bears. However, the porch light had to stay on and I couldn't be more than twenty feet away from the house. It was still pretty enjoyable.
5. On Chairs in Hotel Rooms- I'm always afraid that I'm going to whack people in my sleep when I share a bed with them, so I took up sleeping in chairs to avoid this (also I felt better knowing they had their own bed). It was okay when I did it for one night for a forensics trip (the bathtub was kinda icky anyway), but really painful for three nights when I went on a ski trip in Vermont. DON'T DO IT KIDS!
6. On my Super Fluffy Beanbag- Because I was sick and it kept me upright so I didn't choke on my own snot while sleeping. That was not the most beautiful picture. I'm deeply sorry.
 7. In the Tub/Floor of my Bathroom- Since I was sick a lot this year, I was sleeping in the bathroom for a while so I could throw up with out having to move much. I would line the floor and tub with towels, and I would sleep for maybe two hours until I would pull myself to the toilet. Obviously, this is not the post for dainty ballerina-type people. Except ballerinas aren't really dainty because they are made of rock hard muscle and have amazing self-discipline.
8. On my Driveway- It's so warm...and rock-hard. Also the mailman almost ran over me. So did my dad.
9. In my Trunk- Because I wanted to.
10. In a Cardboard Box- My friend and I in fourth grade turned a treadmill box into a house, complete with photos of cats and my award for a pie eating contest. We pretended we were old ladies, and I think my name was Ms. Bubblebutt. Not positive though...
Well, that's what I have for today. I started reading the Scott Pilgrim series, and I'm enjoying it, but I have the urge to color everything since I couldn't afford the color version. I heard the author is writing something new, and I'm pretty excited for that too!
See you later!

Chilluns, I'm Back.

For reals this time.
OH MY GOSH GRUMPY CAT HAS A BROTHER! Whoops. Sorry about that.
Hopefully I start posting a bit more regularly, but pssh (rolls eyes), we know that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
But I'm feeling refreshed and reenergized, and I'm ready to party!

Well, my type of partying of course. With Nutella. But in this case hummus because there is a buttload of it in my fridge and also there isn't any Nutella. I ate it on the road.
But I got my hair done did today, ate a lot of soup, and went to fencing last night for the first time in a month (nobody recognized me, but this sort of made me feel B.A for all of two seconds until my instructor was like, "OH, I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! You look so different! I'm going to take your picture for THE WALL!" Alas, his camera wasn't in his briefcase.)
On my mini vacation, I have decided that I need a new way to end posts, because I miss the finality of it.
I will not be doing poems though, or quotes, because that is just too dang predictable.
I need something new...something fresh... something like........
Ah, screw it, I have no idea. I need Batman to come swoop down and help me with that.
Anyway, I'm coming up with ideas for posts this week and the next, including...
1. My cats (AND I'M NOT A CREEPY CAT LADY, THEY ARE JUST WEIRD SO I HAVE A LOT OF STORIES TO TELL!)
2. Some drawings of me and my new hair (on the little kid program I use on my computer)
3. Outfits I wear?  I can talk about it, but I don't have a camera to show y'all, so that might not work.
4.Music! Basically just some of the songs I've been listening too lately. I've been getting really into action movie soundtracks.
5.Art? Ehh, I don't really know how show this one. I could show you some of the doodles and stuff I've done, along with my favorite artists (BANKSY).
Yeperdoodles. That's all I got for today.
Oh, I guess to end this I'll just say something that happened a little while ago.
So while I was at music camp, I was assigned a practice room that I could go to each morning to practice bassoon. My room was 29, and I basically knew where that was from the year before when I had fought my way downstairs through the throngs of children so I could check my reeds and get a couple notes out before my audition. But as I walked down stairs, I saw that some of the rooms had special signs, and not just  stating who they belonged to. 11 had a big Ocean's Eleven sign on it, and for 9 there was a sign in between it and 10 that said Room 9 and 3/4. So I went to my practice room to see what was special about it, and then I got there. In pencil, upon the sticky note with the number 29, in messy, all-caps writing, it said "HERP-A-DERP-ALICIOUS 29." I stared at it for awhile, grinned stupidly, and went in.
There was also a rotten apple core thingy inside.
Yep, so that's really all for today. I'm stalking the UPS truck with my eyes, hoping it comes to deliver beautiful, brown boxed presents that make me feel like it's Christmas everyday.
Gotta go.

Things I did Yesterday.

I made biscuits.
I pretended I was Effie Trinket.
I ate a lot of Nutella.
Bought tea at the grocery store.
Checked my plants.
Petted my three cats.
Was confused. A lot.
Ate some cucumber salad.
Wished I'd have given more thought into what I was going to write.
And I think that's all I have to say.
Yep. That's it.
