Stripes

I love prints. Polka dots, zig-zags, tiny foxes, you name it. But stripes are my go-to, comfy pattern that if I wear, I know that I'll be safe. People say stripes aren't forgiving but for me, they are always there when you pulled an all-nighter or are at a party not knowing anyone, or are slouching around your house about to puke. They can look clean or messy, cute or dressy, prim and princess-y (well maybe. I mostly used it so I could rhyme).
YAAAAAY STRIPES!
I have this blanket in blue. AND BOY IS IT COMFY. And yes, it's from my homeland.
Sometimes you just need something a little more on the rebel side.
OR SOMETHING IN THE TOTALLY ADORABLE SIDE!
Being someone who loves crazy pants, I do indeed have a pair of striped ones. Except the stripes are horizontal.
And don't forget your matching socks/tights.
I know that two days ago I said I'd do a regular post, but I forgot. I keep forgetting all the things, probably because I'm too busy.
Oh well, I'll post again soon.

Doodily-Whoop

Whoo! Go fun title that I came up with instantaneously because I had no idea what this post was going to be about!
I enjoy going with the idea of the moment.
I was doodling yesterday, and I was trying to draw a cartoon version of me, but then I ended up doodling some more so I got four chicas instead of just one.
The girl second to the left was the one I was meaning to look the most like me, wearing a dress based on  the one I recently got on sale from Urban Outfitters that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!
I also learned that Marvin's mouth upside down is one of the scariest things I've seen in awhile.
Well, this is right side up so turn your head sort of sideways or something.
NOW YOU'VE GOT IT!
Anyway, back when I was a little kid, after I gave up being a manatee trick trainer, I wanted to be a cartoonist. I even made up this character named Pango, who was a penguin, and even drew a strip for him. I wonder where it is now?
Maybe if I find it I'll try to scan it and put it up here for all y'all to see.
But how is life for everyone?
I still need to finish some summer assignments, and practice bassoon, and get ready for the next two weeks where I will be super duper busy.
THEN IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL, and I'm pretty sure I' m one of the few children in the universe who enjoys going back to school.
But I'm okay with it.
For the ending of each post (at least for August), I have decided to end with a piece of artwork, just because I enjoy staring at art as much as I enjoy educating people about it in the easiest and most non-annoying way possible.
What I'm calling "NO BALL GAMES". Bansky.
Write to y'all later.

Marvin Can't Meow

HEY EVERYBODY I'M HERE AGAIN!
But I need to go shopping and unpack and stuff, so I won't write that much until tomorrow.
But I have a question.
What does it mean if your cat can't meow? Marvin used to, but now he just opens his mouth and nothing happens.
It's both sort of sad and funny at the same time.
He's not old (HE TURNED ONE ON THE 6TH), so I really don't know.
I wonder if someone could help me on this?
Also, how do you tell the difference between male and female cantaloupe flowers?
And tell time from where the sun is in the sky?
And make a perfect Turks head on your bassoon reeds?
And get good flan after trying twenty times?
And how to move Urban Outfitters closer to yourself since you got to go to one twice and you want to go again?
Seriously, I don't usually buy a lot. I JUST LIKE TO LOOK.
But I did buy a cat shirt there and a pair of printed leggings. And a bracelet.
Oh, just a side note I was watching that show Sam and Cat (because I was waiting for Project Runway to load on my computer), and I noticed that under Sam's red sweatshirt, she was wearing MY TAROT CARD MUSCLE SHIRT I BOUGHT FROM URBAN.
Well, the same one, not mine exactly.
Okay, bye.
