Hey y'all.
Just a quick update on me since I know my posting has been next to none.
I've been stressing out a lot lately, and working as much as I possibly can to get school work done correctly and in a timely manner.
So mate has become my new best friend, and I realized how nice and quiet it is at two in the morning.
And while that sounds sort of romantic (at least I think it does), and while I also am sort of strangely addicted to it, I sort of need more sleep.
Also, my face keeps twitching, so that's not a plus.
BUT DON'T WORRY GUYS, I'LL BE BACK TO WRITING SOON!
Hopefully Saturday!
And don't worry about me, I really am fine, I just have these bouts of chaos during this time of the year for some reason.
But I can deal with organized chaos. Perhaps that'll be the title of my memoir, Organized Chaos. Or perhaps after something a teacher told me, Just Under Crazy.
Or something.
ANYDOODLES, I will start writing again, and that makes me happy. Maybe I'll put my sonnet on sporks on here from English class, or a ballad that I'll have to write in the future.
I want mine to be about a police chicken. Hehehe.
Well, gotta fly little ones. I'll write more soon.
(P.S I now have a problem with Tumblr, as in I FIND IT TO BE SOOOOO AMAZING, so if you want to check mine out, it's www.anonymousbassoonist.tumblr.com . Just to let you know. And now this is the true goodbye. Byeeeeee!)

Black Jack Back (Yeah this Title Was Dumb So What)
WHAT UP, BRITCHES?
Bet you weren't expecting that, huh? Neither was I...
It's been a while hasn't it? I really did miss writing EVERYDAY, but obviously that probably isn't going to happen again until summer, because my schedule is packed to the point where I can barely remember everything that is supposed to be going on.But enough about me, what about you?
Hahahaha just kidding back to me because otherwise we'd have a super awkward long silence-pause.... JUST LIKE THAT.
So, getting back to old to times, a list of things that I've learned/have happened to me?
1.Cacahuate replaced tortuga as my favorite Spanish word.
2. I have become obsessed with Tumblr. I really just look at other people's posts, but if you want to check out the few things I have, click here. I don't really like my theme, but I be getting on that.
3. Being sick while playing your instrument for eight hours a day sucks. Plus, it'll get you addicted to Lemon Mint Ricola Coughdrops (not a sponsor. I don't have any. Yet.)
4. I relearned how much I hate shoveling snow.
5. I GOT MY PERMIT AFTER TRYING THREE TIMES. Too bad my DMV friend wasn't there to see me the last time....OR WAS SHE SABOTAGING ME? (BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUUUUUM!)
Naaaah she was too nice.
6. Something must be wrong with my computer because now it is extremely difficult to put pictures in Word documents or add videos to posts and stuff, which is really annoying.7. Q: How many boxes of breadsticks is too many boxes of breadsticks?
A: 4, when you didn't realize your other two roommates ordered two boxes, and each box comes with 20 in them. So you sell them to some of the other kids from your school for all the money they have in their wallets (3 bucks).
8. Pants are overrated. Big sweatshirts and sweaters with leggings are just fine.
9.Marvin's probably not coming back. Ever.
10.TJMAXX is amazing because you go and buy a adorable yellow plastic suitcase, a robot sweater, a mix of a denim vest, a sweatshirt, and a sweater, and sometimes the employees compliment your swan pants or tell you that you should be a model. SHOUT OUT TO MY HOMIES AT MY CLOSEST TJMAXX.
11.So much snow means that one week you went to school for one day.
12. Bassoonists are awesome.
13. Wearing weird shoes helps you make friends, while distracting them from playing as they turn from blue to purple in the light.
14. I wish I had more time to read.
15.Bob's Burgers is now probably my favorite show. I have a Louise hat! I FEEL HER POWER COURSING THROUGH ME!
Or maybe that's all the coffee I've been drinking lately...
16. Netflix is my newest fling. Been catching up on Portlandia, watched Butter, Skyfall, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Bob's Burgers, Adventure Time, Project Runway, and just about everything else they have on there. So that's all that's really been going on with me. Send me a comment if you're feeling my vibes, or have any ideas for a new post. But I'm feeling some of my creativity returning, and that feels good.
Until next time, stay deep as the ocean and cool as a cucumber.
And wash your face twice a day to wipe the ugly away (thanks Miles Jai!)
Byeeeeeee! (Grace Helbig)

THIS DRESS!
Gaaaaaaaaaaah!
I've probably talked about how much I love the movie Skyfall in at least five posts, but I really liked Sévérine and was pretty depressed when she died. (Sorry for the spoiler, but if you haven't watched the movie yet, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS? DO YOU LIVE UNDER A ROCK? THIS MOVIE IS ONE OF THE MOST STOLEN OFF OF NETFLIX OR SOMETHING!*)
But one of the most impressive things in the movie is her dress, and I have now watched this video about it 23 times, so I now shall share it with you so you can marvel at its beauty and how it helps express Sévérine as a character.
I hope you like it.
*I think I read this in Time Magazine or MSN or something. But I could have mistaken it with Inception since I love both of the movies almost equally. Don't quote me on this. And don't judge.

Photos of Myself
When I was going through my Wreck This Journal, I flipped to the page where you put a picture of you that you don't like and you deface. But as I was thinking about what photo to put there, I realized I don't really love any photos of myself.
I could probably count on one hand the number of pictures taken of me recently that I have actually liked.
I usually don't look at pictures that I am in. I will glance at them and smile at everyone else, but then I sort of skip over myself. I know that I'm in it, but I don't really comprehend the whole picture. Maybe this is the reason I don't have a camera except for the crappy one on my phone, and I really don't take selfies (which is basically impossible, again, because of my phone).
By now you are probably thinking I have a bad self image or something. And this isn't really true. I accept myself for who I am and enjoy all the things that make me weird or different or stand out. But of course everyone has their own insecurities, so there are things that I worry about a little bit. But generally I don't worry or think badly about all of the scars I have, or my round face, or my enormous hands. I take it in stride, along with most of the annoying or crappy things that happen on a weekly basis.
So I guess I attribute the whole photo avoidance thing to something sort of superstition.
(Okay, not that type of superstition. But that was asking to be put in there. Hehehehe. Well, by the little voice in the back of my mind going, "You know you want to..." Anyways back to what I was saying before.)
While people who know me may not think I'm super superstitious (ha, I liked how that sounded, sorry continue reading), I unconsciously sort of am. I'll read horoscopes for fun, then end up following them, even though I try to convince myself that it's not true at all. When I heard that they were building a second Titanic, I sort of lost my mind and tried to convince a bunch of people to never, ever ride on it because surely they would drown. Naming and creating a replica of a ship that sunk and killed so many people is just a beacon of bad luck and not good ju-ju.
Okay, I actually have no idea what I'm unconsciously thinking (that's why its unconscious) but I'm just trying to give an idea to something I can't really put into words.
Oh well, I tried.
So this was sort of a feelz post, but it felt good to write it down anyways.
But now I want to write something funny to relieve all this tension. Hmmmm...
FLAGELLA!
Nope that didn't work. Well, I gots to go do some homework and write a speech, so I'll catch you on the other side of the next post my brain decides to vomit out an idea for.
P.S Now I'm listening to Superstition. Thanks Stevie Wonder for working your way into my brain...

Checking Up On You Guys
Hey everyone!
I know I haven't posted something in a few days, so I just wanted to write something in order to see what was going on with you guys.
I had a weird, sort of stressful Saturday, but it ended out okay and I was allowed to breathe a deep sigh of relief. The minute I got home, I just wanted to laugh it off (sort of in a insane person way) and be happy I got through it, and just happy it happened. So I kind of did. Then I read some and went to bed.
Today I'm trying to get at least halfway through a paper that I'm not really enjoying writing. At all. I like the book that it's going to be on, but I also hate that sometimes in school you dissect a book you like to the point where it starts losing the meaning it had to you before. Now you have to factor in all the other information you are "supposed" to know, which seems to be ultimately more important than whatever you thought. And I'm glad that we get to talk about underlying meanings and symbolism and stuff, because I actually find that interesting. But once my friend was talking about how she interpreted a short story we read in class to our teacher, and they told her that was wrong.
And that bothered me because, hey, we all think differently.
Now I get it if she was totally wrong about it, but what she said sounded pretty legitimate and truthful and what could be a meaning of the story. But to just say to her that she was wrong seemed very wrong in itself, especially since the teacher didn't have any back-up information to why she was wrong.
So yeah, I guess this sort of turned into a mini rant, but I'm just really tired and I'm avoiding writing this paper.
Hopefully I'll be able to write more soon!
RIDING ON A PIG, BABY MONKEY!
Is it sad that I have a button with this on it?
OF COURSE NOT!

Babushka
I have a babushka voice. It is a mix of a loving but sort of stern grandmother, an accent that really could pass for a couple of different countries, and it is one of my favorite things right now. I sometimes wear my special scarf that finishes the babushka look, and then I am completely happy, and I become this babushka character.
I needed to do a speech for this weekend, and when I saw this, I fell in love. I looked for other speeches anyway, but from the minute I finished this Ted Talk I knew I was sold, and now I am doing it. I didn't even know it was about babushkas until I watched it.
But if you care to watch, it is really interesting and it makes you wonder more about the perseverance of people.
So here.
What did you think? Could you do what they did even knowing the fact that it will kill you?

Banksy
I have already talked about his artwork before. But I'm just going to let it speak for itself.

Graffiti can be much more than vandalism. It can be a message.

Stripes
I love prints. Polka dots, zig-zags, tiny foxes, you name it. But stripes are my go-to, comfy pattern that if I wear, I know that I'll be safe. People say stripes aren't forgiving but for me, they are always there when you pulled an all-nighter or are at a party not knowing anyone, or are slouching around your house about to puke. They can look clean or messy, cute or dressy, prim and princess-y (well maybe. I mostly used it so I could rhyme).
YAAAAAY STRIPES!
I have this blanket in blue. AND BOY IS IT COMFY. And yes, it's from my homeland.
Sometimes you just need something a little more on the rebel side.
OR SOMETHING IN THE TOTALLY ADORABLE SIDE!
Being someone who loves crazy pants, I do indeed have a pair of striped ones. Except the stripes are horizontal.
And don't forget your matching socks/tights.
I know that two days ago I said I'd do a regular post, but I forgot. I keep forgetting all the things, probably because I'm too busy.
Oh well, I'll post again soon.

More Inspiration (I forget if this is the third or second one)
There's always something new that you find on the internet...
This really stood out to me.
I love these shoes so much! I included them in a school project about me one time.
WHAT IS THIS SORCERY? Okay, this really isn't inspiration, BUT STILL!
Perfect.
Effie Trinket. Just Capital Couture.
I love fall...
AND SKYFALL OF COURSE! I love the colors, the atmosphere, the costumes, EVERYTHING in these scenes.
So yeah. That's it for today. See you around.

Since it's a bleary Monday morning, I'm going on a gif rampage to cheer myself up.
And hopefully you!
Moo. That's all I have to say.

This Video Made Me Laugh
I don't know how I got to this video, but it made me happy (and also sort of sad).
"Don't pretend to know about stuff that you have never heard of before because it will catch up with you" is what I guess is the message.
Also, I know that I haven't been writing as many detailed posts as I usually do, and this is because I'm a bit busy with school and extra-curriculars and life. But hopefully I can get ahead of everything and get back to my regular post length. So whooohooo!
Have a good one.

Some More Reviews of Thing in My Life
Lady Gaga's Fame Body Lotion
This is part of her fragrance line Fame, which I had heard both good and bad things about. So while I was freaking out and running around T.J. Maxx and admiring its great treasures, I saw this on sale and was like, "What the heck? Let's try it." So I bought it and opened the box and smelled it, and thought it was okay, nothing special. Later, I put some on, and thought it smelled a little bit better. Then I sniffed it later and realized IT WAS AMAZING. I don't wear it everyday, and probably will put it on when I want to smell good for something special, but sometimes I put it on before bed and I sleep better. I couldn't tell you the exact ingredients (that's what Sephora is for), but it's sort of fruity and flowery, but not overwhelmingly so. I just like it.
FOUR STARS! (Because it's black but disappears when on your skin and that's cool.)
Equate After Sun Cool Lime Spray
So a couple months ago, I went on a mission trip. We rented a van to take down, and on both ways it was filled with girls and all of their crap/food/bottles of drinks. Four days ago, a couple months after our trip, we were cleaning out a room and then a bag was plopped down with things that we left in the van. Along with the usual socks, flashlights, sunglasses and other stuff, I found this. It was unopened, and I was very interested. I actually thought it was sunscreen, but I asked if it was anybody's, then preceded to tear off the plastic and spray it all over myself. AND IT SMELLED AMAZING! It was like a mini tropical vacation, and I continued to spray it around the room and all over until I was satisfied. It now resides in my room, where it waits for another day to be used to bring smiles to everyone it graces
I give it FIVE STARS because of how great it smells and how the sheer randomness of the product and where I found it made my day.
My Swan Pants
I have talked about my swan pants before. They are one of my favorite articles of clothing, but I don't wear them often because a.) I can't wear leggings to school unless I have something to cover my butt and b.) wearing swan pants too often gets you addicted, so that is all you ever want to wear. On the trip to T.J Maxx that I mentioned before, I wore my swan pants so I could get a sweater to cover my butt so I could wear them to school, along with some huge wedge booties that make me feel like Beyoncé in the awesomeness department. I went to pay, and the clerk told me she loved my pants and asked where I got them from (Modcloth). When I wear them I always have a good day, no matter what, and that is just the joy that comes with wearing swan pants. I suggest you get a piece of clothing like them, something you feel great in and get comments on, because no matter what is happening, you'll feel just a little bit better.
Too many stars for me to write down. Sorry.
My Phone
I have no idea the of the exact name of my phone, but we have a love-hate relationship. It drops calls, will send multiples of the same text, dies all the time, and is the exact size that it is easy to loose, but is still clunky-ish to carry around. But if it gets wet, left outside, dropped down some stairs,or left in an auditorium for three days (at least I think), it will still be okay. It will get lost, but it will always return. It may or may not get stolen, but is so horrible and worthless that nobody wants it after they realize it isn't an iPhone so that in the middle of a lecture it will appear out of thin air and crash to the floor, and some child will hold it up and be like, "I FOUND A PHONE!" This is the way it has been, and this is the way it shall be. A relationship full of understanding.
3 stars. That's all I got to say on the subject.
The Orange Halloween Oreos
These Oreos are better than the original. I have no idea why.
2 stars. Oreos make me sick if I eat too many (which happens with the orange ones).
Do you use/like any of these products? Do you agree with me on any of them?

Inspiration (#2)
Just some more inspiration I've been looking at. AND GUESS WHAT GUYS? FIRST DAY OF SEPTEMBER! WHOOO!
Loving the bird (is it a black cockatoo?) and notebook.
As well as loving Florence Welch's music (Florence + The Machine), I love her fashion choices!
Fall is coming.
Love the suit and pose. Hounds tooth/ geometric prints always look cool (at least to me)!
Makes me smile...
Edgy but feminine.
I can dream...
Have a good week!

Color Post! (I guess #1)
So I like colors. Who doesn't, besides the Adams family and a lot of vampires? Well, I guess you could make a case for color-blind people since they have never seen them, but we won't go there.
I feel like green is going to be the color of the season, especially since mint was in during the summer. So I think we'll be seeing a lot of army greens, emeralds, forest green, and maybe even chartreuse. So I felt like filling this post with colors!
Emerald...

Blue Greens...

And some more emerald!
And we can't forget the art!
The Isle of the Dead. Arnold Böcklin.

I enjoy these too much...
Sorry about this, but I had to let out all the gifs I've been watching.
