Some More Reviews of Thing in My Life

Lady Gaga's Fame Body Lotion
This is part of her fragrance line Fame, which I had heard both good and bad things about. So while I was freaking out and running around T.J. Maxx and admiring its great treasures, I saw this on sale and was like, "What the heck? Let's try it." So I bought it and opened the box and smelled it, and thought it was okay, nothing special. Later, I put some on, and thought it smelled a little bit better. Then I sniffed it later and realized IT WAS AMAZING. I don't wear it everyday, and probably will put it on when I want to smell good for something special, but sometimes I put it on before bed and I sleep better. I couldn't tell you the exact ingredients (that's what Sephora is for), but it's sort of fruity and flowery, but not overwhelmingly so. I just like it.
FOUR STARS! (Because it's black but disappears when on your skin and that's cool.)
Equate After Sun Cool Lime Spray
So a couple months ago, I went on a mission trip. We rented a van to take down, and on both ways it was filled with girls and all of their crap/food/bottles of drinks. Four days ago, a couple months after our trip, we were cleaning out a room and then a bag was plopped down with things that we left in the van. Along with the usual socks, flashlights, sunglasses and other stuff, I found this. It was unopened, and I was very interested. I actually thought it was sunscreen, but I asked if it was anybody's, then preceded to tear off the plastic and spray it all over myself. AND IT SMELLED AMAZING! It was like a mini tropical vacation, and I continued to spray it around the room and all over until I was satisfied. It now resides in my room, where it waits for another day to be used to bring smiles to everyone it graces
I give it FIVE STARS because of how great it smells and how the sheer randomness of the product and where I found it made my day.
My Swan Pants
I have talked about my swan pants before. They are one of my favorite articles of clothing, but I don't wear them often because a.) I can't wear leggings to school unless I have something to cover my butt and b.) wearing swan pants too often gets you addicted, so that is all you ever want to wear. On the trip to T.J Maxx that I mentioned before, I wore my swan pants so I could get a sweater to cover my butt so I could wear them to school, along with some huge wedge booties that make me feel like BeyoncĂ© in the awesomeness department. I went to pay, and the clerk told me she loved my pants and asked where I got them from (Modcloth). When I wear them I always have a good day, no matter what, and that is just the joy that comes with wearing swan pants. I suggest you get a piece of clothing like them, something you feel great in and get comments on, because no matter what is happening, you'll feel just a little bit better.
Too many stars for me to write down. Sorry.
My Phone
I have no idea the of the exact name of my phone, but we have a love-hate relationship. It drops calls, will send multiples of the same text, dies all the time, and is the exact size that it is easy to loose, but is still clunky-ish to carry around. But if it gets wet, left outside, dropped down some stairs,or left in an auditorium for three days (at least I think), it will still be okay. It will get lost, but it will always return. It may or may not get stolen, but is so horrible and worthless that nobody wants it after they realize it isn't an iPhone so that in the middle of a lecture it will appear out of thin air and crash to the floor, and some child will hold it up and be like, "I FOUND A PHONE!" This is the way it has been, and this is the way it shall be. A relationship full of understanding.
3 stars. That's all I got to say on the subject.
The Orange Halloween Oreos
These Oreos are better than the original. I have no idea why.
2 stars. Oreos make me sick if I eat too many (which happens with the orange ones).
Do you use/like any of these products? Do you agree with me on any of them?
SHARING MEANS CARING! Have a good day!

Shorts

Hey y'all. I have an important topic for today. Yes, this girl has a topic for once and isn't going to go off on some random tangent. Let the celebration begin.

Muhahaha Great Gatsby! IT  BE COMIN' OUT IN EIGHT MORE DAYS! I'm planning on going with some friends, checking out Red Robin, maybe strolling over to TJMAXX......
Anyway, back to my very important topic.
You see, Rebecca (haha still going strong with DDG), once the sun starts peeking out and spring has sprung, and you see all the cute little bunnies and birdies and snakes wandering around, and the grass gets greener and the leaves begin to reappear on the the trees, you stretch out your legs and go, "Hmmmm, I might be needing me some shorts."
And then catastrophe strikes.
I'm not embarrassed about my legs or any part of my body (but feet are weird, just sayin'), so don't go thinking that's what I'm writing about. I own plenty of shorts from my two pairs of denim, to my bright yellow cutoffs, to my orange and blue tribal patterned ones, to my white flowered ones with suspenders.
But what shall I wear to school?
THERE AREN'T SHORTS THAT ARE LONG ENOUGH!
My school has the finger-tip length rule, which can be a problem when you are pretty tallish (not 6 feet but on the way there) and your long fingers and legs make it basically impossible to pass the test without looking like you got stabbed in the back and you're trying to hide the wound from everyone by putting your shoulders up to your ears and saying "Hey, you want to go get some Fro-Yo?"
Awkward picture doesn't really do what I'm trying to say justice, but what the hey. You get the picture.
So what's a girl to do? Options:
1. BUY ROMPERS! Sadly they are too short most of the time too. I got called out on the one I wore today, but I didn't have to change since it was the end of the day and the secretary is awesome and thought it was adorable.
2.WEAR DRESSES! A good option, but I don't own that many and also some day you just want to wear something with legs. EXCEPT YOU FEEL SO FREE. The one day I wore a dress I skipped around and told everyone how free I felt. I got laughs or weird creeper stares, the kind you get and then the parent pulls their child away. Except it was at school.
3.WEAR SKIRTS! Same deal as dresses.
4. WEAR PANTS! Oh, I'm sorry to disappoint you, dear, but some places in my school are HUNDREDS OF DEGREES SOMETIMES. Also I want my legs to be free.
5. LEGGINGS? Only if they have swans or sharks or another freaking awesome pattern on them. Otherwise, no ma'am.
So I'm out of options. No where sells shorts I can wear to school that are long enough.
I could make my own, or get something from a thrift shop (TWENTY DOLLARS IN MY POCKET) and alter it, but I really don't have the time to do that right now.
Oh well, I'll figure something out.
So that's my rant.
What will I do now? I want a iced cappuccino and some lace, but that's not going to happen, is it?
Poem time? I was sort of angsty yesterday, wasn't I? Back to haiku.
I need to shave now,
Caterpillars all over,
Up and down my legs.
Hmm, weird. Gonna go soak up some sun.

Loretta

Hey y'all! Look, I acutally remembered to write for the second day in a row! Whoo personal progress!
Okay, since I know that nobody is really reading this blog (I'm allowed to see a graph in which I realized the peaks were from me checking to see if the posts actually showed up and stuff, sad, I know) I feel like I could write better if I was writing to an actual person beacause, hey, I enjoy writing extremely long letters about nothing in particular. Meadow Inferno is a terrible name though, so until I can think of a person that I feel like addressing, I will just use a random name.
Dear Loretta,
You happen to be one of my favorite characters from the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous. Well, your name at least. You are a fictional reader who I choose to write to in this time of need. Heck, tomorrow I will write to Gladys. But it is not this day.

(hehehehe yes this is what I'm doing at this time)

Yaaay go memes. They are truly the bestest.
Okay, Loretta. So now I enjoy using the program on my computer to draw things, and I have been told that I "drew something almost exactly like it when you were 5". The program is pretty fun. It gives you a lot of different colors to utilize and there are stickers and different mediums and it is just overall great. Look what I made just the other day!
So this is a pretty good representation of me since the hair is pretty much perfectly out of control and who wouldn't prefer to be in a shrine of grapes because, face it, grapes are basically the most accessible fruit. If there is a bowl of grapes, and they are not gross and wrinkly and fermented or anything, they will be eaten. Also I tried to draw the shirt I call my Depression-Commercial shirt, but that didn't really work out. Maybe I'll show it to you some time. With my swan pants.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the haiku thing! Hmm, let's see........
Grape soda scares me,
Real grapes don't inspire fear,
Artificial does.
Actually that could be perceived as pretty deep, but oh well. Deep is where you need to go sometimes. Along with hot pretzel places at the mall! One of the best dinners I had in a long time was a cinnamon-sugar pretzel with fudge dipping sauce and a vanilla latte. Sometimes you just need a pretzel to show you how sweet life can be.
