The Sun Shines Again

Literally and figuratively.
HEY Y'ALL, I'M BACK!
I know the last time we spoke, I was in darker mood. But the sun is shining now, and I can feel the warmth on my skin. Sometimes I forget how much weather actually affects how you feel.
But it also helps that I'm on a break from school.
And I'm getting to the point where I'm running out of stuff to do.
Technically it's only day three, but I have already  reread The Outsiders, The Road, and the Dangerous Angels series (all great books, I must add), re-watched a bunch of Bob's Burgers episodes, cleaned my room some, eaten a bunch of candy, and started preparing for a trip in the future (CHICAGO HERE I COME, BABY!).
And when I get there, I'm planning on doing everything Ferris Bueller did.
Minus stealing a Ferrari...
I got a couple of songs on iTunes, and am procrastinating on homework.
SO ALL IS GOOD IN THE WORLD!

(If I could, I'd dance/throw flowers too, my little globe friend)
I'll probably blog again this week, which is super weird since my posts have been sporadic, but I'm excited.
And I could go for some sushi or a Chipotle burrito as well...but that's another matter.
Okay, I'm gonna go now. Gotta wake up early to chuck some soccer balls at my bro and spend another day in the sunshine.
Hope everybody's having a good week and is enjoying the nice weather (and if you still have snow, I send all the warmth and summer vibes/feelz your way.)
Catch you later.

Maybe I Am Becoming an Old Person...

Not in just the getting older, because yes, every year I celebrate a birthday (even if last year I sort of forgot about it, A REASON FOR THE TITLE ABOVE). But maybe I'm becoming more elderly and curmudgeonly. (I LOVE THAT WORD!)
I have noticed that:
-I enjoy foods that don't need chewing, such as soup, mashed potatoes, hummus, oatmeal, pudding, ice cream, etc. Further evidence of this is all over this blog.
- As mentioned above, I forget things. Really, it is only short term things, like where I put Ting's (my alter ego) glasses, or the jar of Nutella, or my script. Long term is fine, but usually it's something unusual, like the color of crayon I used the most of when drawing over the walls of my old house (Mac & Cheese).
- I'm annoyed by technology. And I'm slowly refusing to stop learning how to use new ones (which is why my PowerPoint skills are so horrible).
-I'm beginning to look at younger kids and realize that their childhoods are totally different, and that when I was in fourth grade, I didn't have Hollister jeans or an iPod touch or iPhone. And I miss being a little kid.
- I am an old man (temporarily when I read a monologue) in a play. They changed it so I was a old lady, but I feel like by being an old man I can be more crotchety (I LOVE THAT WORD TOO!).
Maybe everyone feels like this and misses being a little kid and is afraid of getting old. Especially when you're in high school. You have no idea what is coming next and are sort of afraid, but you really miss being a little kid and not having to worry about anything like how other people think of you, or your grades, or how your friends are doing, or memorizing lines, or who is going to take you to homecoming.
Do you feel the same way?
Okay, I got to go eat some soup and drink some tea.

Sunday Was Yesterday.

I had no idea what to write, and my voice was gone so that for some reason inhibits by brain from thinking straight, probably because all my thoughts were stuck inside my head and couldn't leave my mouth. But I like listing so here it is!
-woke up after coming home late at night after party
-remembered that I was losing my voice near the end
-made Godiva chocolate coffee
-played Plants vs. Zombies
-contemplated working on homework
-did not
-got dressed and cleaned up
-watched Youtube videos
-ate lunch (goat cheese and pear panini I made myself)
-got music and things together
-said goodbye to my aunt
-left for orchestra
-played in orchestra and was awkward since I didn't know anybody well
-packed up
-went to Wegmans
-freaked out (as usual)
-got three different types of soup and sushi
-drove home
-ate food
-thought about doing homework
-wrote this list
Basically it was pretty lazy and fun.

Goodbye Mr. Hummus

I may have a problem. But I love hummus.
0929131945.jpg
And when they were handing out donuts and candy, and made a joke about bringing and hummus and crackers next time when I didn't eat the sugary products, I felt bad that they just didn't understand and enjoy your beigey goodness.
But maybe it's just your texture.

Mashed Potatoes

There are three things that I will consume as fast as I possibly can in as few spoon-fulls as I can shove in at a time. Those foods are...
-Nutella (obviously)
-Hummus
-MASHED POTATOES!
As I have probably mentioned before, mashed potatoes are my version of peace food. They're nice, non-threatening mounds of fluffy goodness, filled with butter and starch. Anyone can eat them, unless you're vegan, and then you can just use vegan butter and your choice of non-dairy milk to make them. They're comforting (at least to me), and you can make them how ever you want.
Seriously, one time at a forensics meet I got a portion the size of my head. AND IT WAS FANTASTIC! However, I don't recommend the mashed potatoes at your school, because if they are anything like mine, they remind you of a mix of cardboard and wood glue. But maybe your school has amazing food and chefs and you love them.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
BUT WAIT, WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO EAT MY MASHED POTATOES ALONE IN MY HOUSE AND WATCH NEW GIRL ALL BY MYSELF, ALONE?
Share them with your friends, family, pets (well, maybe not the best idea), teachers, neighbors, your enemies (hopefully so they won't be your enemies anymore!), and anyone else.
Just do it.
Yep, all I wanted to say for today.
Actually, this picture really turns me off in the hunger department.
That's what I really wanted to say.

Some More Reviews of Thing in My Life

Lady Gaga's Fame Body Lotion
This is part of her fragrance line Fame, which I had heard both good and bad things about. So while I was freaking out and running around T.J. Maxx and admiring its great treasures, I saw this on sale and was like, "What the heck? Let's try it." So I bought it and opened the box and smelled it, and thought it was okay, nothing special. Later, I put some on, and thought it smelled a little bit better. Then I sniffed it later and realized IT WAS AMAZING. I don't wear it everyday, and probably will put it on when I want to smell good for something special, but sometimes I put it on before bed and I sleep better. I couldn't tell you the exact ingredients (that's what Sephora is for), but it's sort of fruity and flowery, but not overwhelmingly so. I just like it.
FOUR STARS! (Because it's black but disappears when on your skin and that's cool.)
Equate After Sun Cool Lime Spray
So a couple months ago, I went on a mission trip. We rented a van to take down, and on both ways it was filled with girls and all of their crap/food/bottles of drinks. Four days ago, a couple months after our trip, we were cleaning out a room and then a bag was plopped down with things that we left in the van. Along with the usual socks, flashlights, sunglasses and other stuff, I found this. It was unopened, and I was very interested. I actually thought it was sunscreen, but I asked if it was anybody's, then preceded to tear off the plastic and spray it all over myself. AND IT SMELLED AMAZING! It was like a mini tropical vacation, and I continued to spray it around the room and all over until I was satisfied. It now resides in my room, where it waits for another day to be used to bring smiles to everyone it graces
I give it FIVE STARS because of how great it smells and how the sheer randomness of the product and where I found it made my day.
My Swan Pants
I have talked about my swan pants before. They are one of my favorite articles of clothing, but I don't wear them often because a.) I can't wear leggings to school unless I have something to cover my butt and b.) wearing swan pants too often gets you addicted, so that is all you ever want to wear. On the trip to T.J Maxx that I mentioned before, I wore my swan pants so I could get a sweater to cover my butt so I could wear them to school, along with some huge wedge booties that make me feel like BeyoncĂ© in the awesomeness department. I went to pay, and the clerk told me she loved my pants and asked where I got them from (Modcloth). When I wear them I always have a good day, no matter what, and that is just the joy that comes with wearing swan pants. I suggest you get a piece of clothing like them, something you feel great in and get comments on, because no matter what is happening, you'll feel just a little bit better.
Too many stars for me to write down. Sorry.
My Phone
I have no idea the of the exact name of my phone, but we have a love-hate relationship. It drops calls, will send multiples of the same text, dies all the time, and is the exact size that it is easy to loose, but is still clunky-ish to carry around. But if it gets wet, left outside, dropped down some stairs,or left in an auditorium for three days (at least I think), it will still be okay. It will get lost, but it will always return. It may or may not get stolen, but is so horrible and worthless that nobody wants it after they realize it isn't an iPhone so that in the middle of a lecture it will appear out of thin air and crash to the floor, and some child will hold it up and be like, "I FOUND A PHONE!" This is the way it has been, and this is the way it shall be. A relationship full of understanding.
3 stars. That's all I got to say on the subject.
The Orange Halloween Oreos
These Oreos are better than the original. I have no idea why.
2 stars. Oreos make me sick if I eat too many (which happens with the orange ones).
Do you use/like any of these products? Do you agree with me on any of them?
SHARING MEANS CARING! Have a good day!

My hair is poofy.

With my new haircut, it fluffs up a lot, and then I have to put a lot of products in it so it calms down. Also, it's really hard to get the spiky look I like the best.

Well good morning, world!
How's it going so far?
So far, I've made man down toast, worked on a design for a t-shirt, messed with my hair for about half an hour, tuned my ukulele, and am dreaming about lunch at one of my favorite cafes in the next town over.
Mmmmmmm, food. Such a beautiful thing.

I'm wearing my Bazinga t-shirt (from the Big Bang Theory) it's sad outside. The sky is crying just a little bit now and again and it looks pretty grumpy.
I'm hungry. So all I keep thinking of is food.
Crepes, I want you so bad....
Ugh, now I'm on Crepes of Wrath and I want foooooooooooooooooooooooood.
I may have a problem.
My hair smells sort of like the ocean. I haven't been to the ocean. Or a waterpark.
Now I want to ride a rollercoaster.
Well, again, I don't really have an idea for this post either, but I forgot that I need to write this guy a letter on bears, so I'm a gonna do that.
Sorry, guys, I'm abandoning you.
I don't even feel like writing a quote so SUCK IT!
Ehh, now I feel guilty so I'm going to put in a quote.
"Kind people have a way of working their way inside me and rooting there."
-Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games
Yep, that's all folks.
