Working on Wreck This Journal

I finally have had some down time to work on it again (even though I should be working on school projects).
The problem is that once I start wrecking, I get kind of obsessed and do around ten pages at a time until I finish them, and then I taper off after a day and forget about it.
So this is the cycle that my work has fallen into, and by tomorrow I'll be back at school and will forget about the whole book until Christmas break.
Probably.
But for now, I'll show you one of the pages that I think I'm basically finished with. I did it late last night, because that is the best time of day for destroying your journal for some reason. Perhaps it's because its dark and you turn up your music loud (on your headphones) and you just finished a jar of Nutella and everything is working out in the world.
Well, you know, for me at least.
So here's the page!

P.S I was really twitchy when writing this post so sorry if the words sound funny. I look back on this and don't think that the order and flow was superb.

Little Seeds

Hey fellow chicos y chicas!
It's good to be back.
I know I've taken a break from writing on Meadow Inferno, but I needed some time to get stuff done and start getting some of the creative juices flowing.
And slowly, it's coming back to me how to write a blog post that I am proud of and is absolutely me.
But I probably won't be posting everyday.
It's hard for me to think of ideas, and while I do love the small, tiny, random thought posts that have been coming up recently, I also like the long, random ones with all the pictures and possibly deeper thoughts and the crazy drawings and the poems and pictures I've come to love.
But today, as I was sitting at my computer writing this in my blazer and pajamas I got to thinking about all those little sentences said by somebody else that get lodged in your brain. They could be positive, they could be negative, they could be sort of both. All it takes is that little utterance, that seemingly un-important comment, the last sentence at the end of a book.
And it starts to take root in your mind.
Before you know it, it has spread to the outer corners of your consciousness, and becomes something that you start thinking about a little more than you probably should. But the roots keep spreading and spreading and taking more of your mind until it's basically all you start thinking about and you need the answer about what it is really about. So you Google it or you try to drop hints to get somebody to talk more about it. And it doesn't really work.
And it goes away.
But then later, what seems like hours, months, years, decades in the future, you get the answer.
And you realize that it wasn't that important at all.
Or maybe it was.
YOU SEE GUYS, I MISSED DOING STUFF LIKE THIS!
Now I gotta go find my Nutella. I hid it around here somewhere...

Maybe I Am Becoming an Old Person...

Not in just the getting older, because yes, every year I celebrate a birthday (even if last year I sort of forgot about it, A REASON FOR THE TITLE ABOVE). But maybe I'm becoming more elderly and curmudgeonly. (I LOVE THAT WORD!)
I have noticed that:
-I enjoy foods that don't need chewing, such as soup, mashed potatoes, hummus, oatmeal, pudding, ice cream, etc. Further evidence of this is all over this blog.
- As mentioned above, I forget things. Really, it is only short term things, like where I put Ting's (my alter ego) glasses, or the jar of Nutella, or my script. Long term is fine, but usually it's something unusual, like the color of crayon I used the most of when drawing over the walls of my old house (Mac & Cheese).
- I'm annoyed by technology. And I'm slowly refusing to stop learning how to use new ones (which is why my PowerPoint skills are so horrible).
-I'm beginning to look at younger kids and realize that their childhoods are totally different, and that when I was in fourth grade, I didn't have Hollister jeans or an iPod touch or iPhone. And I miss being a little kid.
- I am an old man (temporarily when I read a monologue) in a play. They changed it so I was a old lady, but I feel like by being an old man I can be more crotchety (I LOVE THAT WORD TOO!).
Maybe everyone feels like this and misses being a little kid and is afraid of getting old. Especially when you're in high school. You have no idea what is coming next and are sort of afraid, but you really miss being a little kid and not having to worry about anything like how other people think of you, or your grades, or how your friends are doing, or memorizing lines, or who is going to take you to homecoming.
Do you feel the same way?
Okay, I got to go eat some soup and drink some tea.

WEGMANS!

I LOVE WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANSS!

Okay, so I had an audition sort of far away from my house, and there was a Wegmans nearby, and then I began my adventure.

Yeah, I'm going to skip over the part where I didn't write a post for a couple of days, and start talking about how ammmmaaaazing Wegmans is!
And derr de derr, it's going to be in list form.
1. IT'S HUMONGOUS
The building is ginormous and packed with food, and the aisles stretch on and on. I could get lost in there if I really tried.
2. IT HAS A RESTURANT INSIDE OF IT
With so many choices! There was Dim Sun and Sushi, Indian, Chinese, all sorts of salads, and home style cooking like mac & cheese. I opened a carton, shoved a bunch of food inside, grabbed a guava soda and some chopsticks, and ran to the cashier.

3. IT HAS ALL THE WERID AND FANTASTIC FOOD/DRINKS I CAN'T GET AT HOME
I found Dry Soda (Blood Orange and Vanilla Bean), coconut meat, chia drinks, Nutella infused bakery, and this awesome Egyptian Licorice tea that coats your throat and makes you feel magical.
4. CANDY BAR THINGY
Thousands of candy types all over the place, all ready for the taking. But sadly I couldn't take any. My gummy worm friends, chocolates, caramel, and dried kiwi were left for another day.

5. YUM YUMS
I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE! EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND GREAT. IT WAS LIKE A FREAKING LOTUS HOTEL COMPLEX UP IN THERE.

The movie sucks, by the way.
Yep. I had a good day. So that's all I wanted to talk about.
Quote time, chilluns!
"I am not pretty. I am not beautiful. I am as radiant as the sun."
Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games
You better believe it.

22 Hours of Suffering (on a sailboat)

Hey everybody.
So I know my last post was sort of a story, so I decided to tell another one in this post.
Except it's sort of sad. More like pathetic.
But it'll all be okay because, hey, things work out.
So my tale begins.....
The Story of How I REALLY Had to Pee but I Held it for 22 Hours (on a sailboat)
Once upon a time, I was on a sailboat. I was learning how to sail, and it was really fun, with it not being a crazy windy day, or one without wind.

The sun was shining, there was an abundance of Fudge Crème Oreos, and everyone was talking and joking.
This was what I remember before having to pee.
But I played cool, because like any girl worth her salt, I can hold it. So I did.

Once we got to land, we had to hike a bit to get to the place where we were going to camp outside. It was pretty cool, with everybody squished together for warmth (and lack of space), and we had burgers (a veggie burger in my case), and everybody was happy.
Except I had to pee.
There weren't any bathrooms, so you were left with a shovel and told to go find a spot far away. But I can't make myself pee in the woods. It's something I just can't do, and I'm not squeamish or afraid of spiders, snakes, or the outdoors or anything.
So I held it until morning.

And I still had to pee.
So we had breakfast milk cartons (which were covered by slugs that had mysteriously appeared with the dew), and  we hiked back down to our boats, wading into the water to set them off.

I HAD TO PEE!
But I didn't because 1) Peeing in a lake is illegal (this is basically the underlying PSA I am leaving you with) and 2) I couldn't make myself do it. So I waited.
I ended up waiting six more hours because the wind wouldn't pick up.

I later learned that you can die (some lady actually has in a contest) if you hold it too long.
So moral of the story:
Don't hold your pee. Ever. Find a bathroom and it'll be all good.
I'm glad to share my experience. Okay, quote of the day!

"I am not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens."
- Woody Allen
Yeah, that is going to be a pain, isn't it?
So live life to your utmost ability, eat Nutella, and always, I MEAN ALWAYS, lick the spoon afterwards.

Or the knife.

3 Day! (Well, Free Day)

Hey mis muchachos y muchachas!
Today I have one of my first Free Days ("There are no rules! There is one rule!" to quote Cici's pizza commercial) in what seems like months.
I guess it actually was months with all the forensics tournaments and lacrosse days and concerts and work and stuff. Not that I have a job......
Well anyways, I started my day off with the eating what remained in my jar of Nutella, and got to work in order to relax and get stuff done.

This is what the jar looked like after I was done with the Nutella.
Back to my Free Day, I got to eat vegan burritos and hummus with pita chips. I studied a bit for an entrance exam, fell asleep on my driveway (not the best of ideas when someone comes driving up), wore my humongous sweatpants, and danced around a lot. There was music and Tibetan prayer flags (that I made) and overall it was pretty enjoyable, if not extremely windy. Oh, and I felt like adding this after waking up from my nap.
So very, very true for interp as well.
Well I didn't really get a whole lot of work done, but that's okay.
I'll figure everything out eventually.
I don't have much to say today, but I feel like I should include some John Green gifs, just because, well, they're John Green gifs.

And don't forget about Hank!
Well, I guess it's poem time. Except I'm getting quite tired of making stupid ones up, so I might add quotes now. But not for this post. I gotta commit.
This is it,
The last freaking poem,
I got tired of writing them like I tire of everything,
I have O'D on  Kraft mac and cheese,
chicken fingers,
Tastee Freeze,
those candy ringers.
No more Tootsie Rolls
or the Swiss Misses,
doughnuts, jelly rolls,
Hershey White Chocolate Kisses.
I'm even tiring of hummus
and muffins
which is just plain depressing.
(Just like salad dressing)
So this poem sucks,
but it'll be okay
because it'll be deleted eventually anyways.
Whoa, major poem suckage. But I like it that way and I need to go practice bassoon.
Sleep tight, kids.

Oh my goodness, has happened to me so many times. Especially with Buster. WHO CAN BE A TURD, ESPECIALLY WHEN HE PEES ON THE CABINETS! But more on that later.

Post with a Name that Doesn't Make Sense (Spectacular Mountain)

Aghhhh I'm freezing!
Which is weird since the air conditioning isn't on...
Good morning, y'all (or evening, or midday, when ever you happen to read this)!
I'm super full from eating a bunch of desserts from the church kitchen I was volunteering at, but there is a new jar of Nutella awaiting me on the kitchen counter, calling my name.........

Like write about it obsessively on this blog. Actually, this is the picture that captures the joy the most, along with making me snort a little when I first saw it..

Yep. Some things work out perfectly. BUT I WILL NOT SUCCUMB TO THIS TEMPATION! Therefore I continue to write.
My hair smells nice like a hot tub (it makes sense since I was in one) and I really want a shower but the water is being screwy so I can't. Okay now I'm REAAAAALLY thirsty, but if I go in the kitchen then I will want to pass by the Nutella and it will be a chocolate hazelnut-spread coated disaster. No, I can be strong. I will do this.
WHOO HOO GUYS I ONLY GOT MILK! I HAVE OVERCOME MY PROBLEM!
I succumbed to the Nutella, guys......

I...I was doing so well, and then...there it was...on the counter....all alone. I was thinking about cranberry salad but.......it was so strong....
No. I will not dwell on the past. I will work harder in the future.
So what does everyone want to talk about?
Lafawnda: (waves hand in air violently) Oooh, ooh I know!
Me: What?
Lafawnda: (slowly lowers hand) Um....sorry. I don't really know. I just wanted to be supportive since you clearly don't have any ideas on what to write and are depending on figments of your written imagination to help you.
Me: Oh.
Lafawnda: ( smug smile spreads over face) Proceed.
Me: Um, okay.....
LET'S WATCH A MOVIE!
I'm gonna watch one and talk to you about it tomorrow. Yeah. I got plans for life. Look at me, a huge winner.

Leedle leedle lee,
I can do this all day long,
Y'all gonn be suckers.
Gif? Yes please!
About Meadow Inferno:

Ain't that the truth....

Annnnnnd these two are an example of the faces I make on a daily basis....

HISSING TOILET!

Sorry, Lisa (DDG), but I have to address something here.
MY TOILET HISSED AT ME LAST NIGHT!
It was super weird and unexpected and I flushed and walked away and then I could hear it hissing from not too far away so I came to investigate AND IT STILL WAS HISSING! HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT?!?!

Well, maybe.......but I doubt it. It was more guttural than a snake.
I also found a possible solution to my leg covering issue at school which is.......(drum roll, please) HAREM PANTS! I think I'm still going to be hot, but it's worth a try.
Also, I may be consuming so much Nutella that I taste like it, since I have been recently being licked by all the animals I have come in contact with lately. No matter what.

If I ever go this far, please reign me in and sit down and hold an Intervention. Key factor: There shouldn't be any Nutella at this event. I know it's a healing element, but in this case it will hinder me and the Intervention-ers.
You know what else freaks me out? TASTY KAKES! Holy crap, those things are scary and I will run if you have one, especially the giant ones.
Fun Fact: I once had a nightmare where I was chained to a huge stake in the ground of a giant coliseum, right smack dab in the middle, and a bunch of people with masks ( I guess I must have known them since why else would they try to hide their identities) pelted me with Tasty Kakes as I tried to get free. Then it started to rain and all the Tasty Kakes got soggy and even grosser. Not sure what I'm supposed to make of this, unless it's like a message that in the future I will be betrayed by my friends and family and they will attack me with artificial baked goods that come out of plastic wrappers.
To wrap it up, here's a poem.
Last week, tragedy
Zipper on my red pants broke,
Boots tread lightly now.
Actually the zipper broke three or four weeks ago, but I'm writing from the perspective from two or three weeks ago.
Short post, but it doesn't really matter.

EXCITEMENT

WHOO HOO! Hey guys!
I'm back from my mini trip to Busch Gardens and D.C and I had a super fantastic time. Oh yeah I forgot I am supposed to just address one person. Hmmmmmm..... okay got it.
Dear Annette (hehehe still DDG),
Upon returning, I have been excited about many things. Well, I'm always excited in general, but whatever. Here's a list.
1.OH MY GOD I LOVE LISTS! Okay, that one doesn't really count.
2.Great Gatsby Soundtrack. I read the book last week since I really wanted to see the movie but didn't want to go in without the prior knowledge (jeez, the book was great). Anyway, the movie looks pretty good. After watching some trailers, I wanted to know the soundtrack. So I looked it up and listened to some samples AND OH MY GOODNESS, IT BLEW ME AWAY AND I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR MAY 7TH SO I CAN BUY IT ALL! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! But I digress.

3. Roller coasters. I found out that I love roller coasters. A lot. Maybe too much. Sadly in all of my pictures that you can get at the end of the ride there was the same dopey face of me being like a little kid who has had WAY too much sugar. Also I laugh manically. Sometimes I scream. Once I yelled "I NEED TO HICCUP". The other patrons were either afraid or enthralled by my randomness. It was great.
4.NUTELLA! We all know that I love it but now I really want some. Wait a sec. Here let me give you an image of what I'm doing to get it.
Mmmmmm it's pretty good on green apples too.
(Side Note: If you knew how long it takes me to post it would make you very disappointed in me because it takes me FOREVER to get all the links, photos, captions, and general layout of a page.
5. Tomorrow. Not to sound like Annie or anything, but I always look forward to the good things to come in the future, no matter how big or small, which means back to school! (Notice I didn't say waking up to go there.) YAAAAAY MAKE-UP WORK!
Whooo! It's haiku time!
Black and white photos,
Gone is unnecessary,
Character remains.
Isn't this true? Free People Blog was talking about this, and I couldn't agree more. There is a certain quality that comes out it pictures when the color mask is stripped away. You get to see the true nature of the person/object/place, and you get a better feel for it. You see the hard and soft of the lines, it's movement, the reason why it is what it is.
Whoa, going deep in the ocean again I see.
Hmm...should I add a picture? HECK YEAH!
Octopus dress? What do you think?
(P.S Spellcheck doesn't think Nutella is a word. WHAT IS THIS TREACHERY?!?!)

Day 1

Well, I guess this is the beginning.
I've always wanted to write something for other people to see, but I guess I'm going to just use this in order to catalog my writing and general randomness (GET READY FOR IT). I really don't have an exact topic for this blog, but posts are probably going to involve some combination writing about music, art, videos, a teensy bit of fashion (or what I would wear at least), books, food, DIY's, and NUTELLA! Yes, Nutella is separate from food since it is basically its own little food group, at least for me.

Actually, when I was younger, I would get really mad at the commercials and scream something along the lines of "WHAT IS THIS?!?! CHOCOLATE IN A JAR? I COULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT!" Luckily, I had the chance of meeting this beautiful substance around two years ago, and I have never looked back. I put in on everything and anything in order to shove it into my mouth, my favorite being a spoon, though I must say it is fantastic on green grapes.
Well, I can see this is going to be weird, but I hope you enjoy the ride.

(P.S I channel this picture when I want to look intimidating or like Suzy in a BA raven costume.)
